Beautiful pair of hand-painted pottery candlesticks in a colorful Talavera-style floral design with cobalt blue, yellow, green and rust accents. Each has a wide round base and holds a standard taper candle.
Measures approximately 7-1/2” tall, 4-1/2” across the base, with an opening of approximately 1-1/4”.
One underside is hand-marked “T.MAT” or similar; I would not claim a specific maker or origin unless you can confirm it. One candlestick has a chip along the underside/base rim, shown in your photos, plus some normal handmade glaze variation and light wear. The chip does not appear to affect how it stands.
