Pair Vintage 1962 Seagram’s 7 Crown Diamond Glass Decanters w/ Stoppers For Sale

Beautiful pair of vintage 1962 Seagram’s 7 Crown clear glass whiskey decanters featuring rectangular bodies, an all-over quilted diamond pattern, and matching cube-shaped glass stoppers with cork sleeves.

Both bottles are authentic period Seagram’s liquor decanters marked “D-126,” the distiller identification code associated with Seagram’s. Each base also carries the period wording “Federal Law Foroffers Sale or Reuse of This Bottle” and a 1962 date code.

Although they share the same Seagram’s design and 1962 production year, the decanters were manufactured by different glass companies, accounting for the slight variations in proportions and base markings.

• One base is marked 18, diamond glassmaker symbol, 62, and D-126

• One base is marked MTC, 4301, 62, and D-126, identifying Thatcher Manufacturing

Each measures approximately 12” tall with its stopper in place. Both original-style stoppers are included. Photographed with flash and without.
