The Parkway Hotel was a historic Reno hotel located at 120 Sierra Street and was in operation by the 1920s. This piece appears to be a vintage automobile advertising accessory, with two elongated mounting slots along the bottom for attachment near a vehicle license plate.
The bold blue, black, and white graphics have a great mid-century roadside-Americana look. Based on its construction and design, this piece is believed to date approximately to the mid-20th century, although the exact date has not been determined.
