This beautifully matched set features Pattern Number 8419, a vibrant, hand-painted English cottage garden motif filled with colorful wildflowers, including blue primroses, yellow tulips, and delicate pink blossoms. Both pieces are finished with a lovely, brushed gold-gilt trim along the heavily scalloped edges and a gilded handle on the footed cup.
Backstamp/Markings:The undersides of both the cup and saucer feature the authentic overglaze Phoenix Globe mark, dating this specific set from approximately the 1925 to 1940s era. The pattern number 8419 is cleanly hand-painted on the base of the teacup.
