His career was as follows: 04.12.1939 soldier; 16.08.1940 corporal; 25.01.1941 sergeant; 18.121941 Uffz. u. Sergeant-Dsttr.; 10.09.1942 Sergeant & Chief Sergeant.Dsttr.; 01.02.1945 Sergeant-Hauptfeldwebel until 02.08.1945.
