Brief History of Luang Pu Tim

Luang Pu Tim was born into a farming family and has been seeking Dharma since he was a child. At the age of 17, he was ordained as a novice at Wat Laharn Rai and studied Thai and Pali with Phra Ajahn Singh.

At the age of 21, he was ordained as a monk at the boundary of Wat Laharn Rai. Phra Khru Khao of Wat Thap Ma was his preceptor, Phra Ajahn Singh was his anusavana teacher, and Phra Ajahn Ket was his kammavacha teacher.

After his ordination, he resided at Wat Laharn Rai and studied Dharma and magic from the texts of Luang Pu Sangkhao. He studied more from both laypeople and monks.
