Offered here is a rare vintage Platinum fountain pen from the "Sheaff" (シープ) model line, believed to be over 50 years old. This is a collectible piece featuring an 18K gold nib, making it a notable example of mid-20th century Japanese pen craftsmanship.
The barrel is wrapped in sheepskin leather, which shows some peeling and wear consistent with its age. The pen cap has a portion with a raised deformation or damage. The overall condition reflects decades of storage and age. The seller is unable to confirm whether the pen writes, so it is being sold as-is for collection or restoration purposes.
