This Crucifix is from the same numbered limited edition series of 50. Each is unique in that each is hand finished. The Crucifixes offered in this listing are numbered and signed by the artist.
The Crucifix offered in this listing is a smaller replica of the large Chapel Cross shown that will hang in theChapel of St. John Paul II Chapel in Henderson Nevada. It is used during every mass. Any one who purchases this Crucifix, at their request, their name will be placed in the "Treasury of Faith Capsule" on the bottom of the Chapel Cross and will be present for all Masses celebrated when the cross is present.This is not just another Religious Art item.• This is not just another Crucifix. This is the St. John Paul II "Family Covenant Crucifix."

This beautiful Crucifix takes 20 hours to be created by 3D printing. It then undergoes an additional 14 - 18 hours of finishing to achieve this amazing artistic piece.
This Crucifix is a replica of the Chapel Cross that was designed and created by the same artist who made these table size Crucifixes. The Chapel Cross was commissioned for the Chapel of St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Henderson Nevada.
This hand finished replica stands 20 inches high 8.5 inches wide, approximate. Very delicate details like fingers, the nails and the wound in Jesus' side are faithfully reproduced through the initial 20 hour creation process and accentuated during the painstaking and delicate finishing process.
St. John Paul II Roman Catholic Church in Henderson Nevada has the unique privilege of housing the First Class Sacred Relic of the Blood of Pope John Paul II. This precious gift was secured for the church by His Eminence Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz. Cardinal Dziwisz was the personal secretary to Pope John Paul II during the 27 years of the Pope's term of Papacy up until his death. In the famous picture showing Pope JP2 collapsing after being shot, then, Cardinal Dziwisz, who was at that time a priest, is shown cradling Pope John Paul II. He is the dark haired priest to the right of the pope.

Sanding, smoothing, use of a hot knife to reinforce delicate structure, filler, base paint, antiquing, highlighting, sealing and more. Easy piece is unique and no two are identical because each one is hand finished with a meticulous and intricate attention to detail.
The base is a heavy metal brass toned substantial holder that provides stability and finishes this piece of art with an aesthetically pleasing appeal.
There are a limited number of these Crucifixes at this time. At the risk of sounding like a "sales pitch" please do not wait if this has special meaning for you. The artist has agreed to make additional items if requested however the process is very time consuming.

Your name, and your family's name will be sealed in the base of the Chapel Crucifix "Treasury of Faith Capsule" as one of the owners of this legacy piece. unless you instruct us otherwise. This means your family's name will be in the base of the Chapel Crucifix for every mass said in the Chapel.
