PostWar US M1938 WIRE CUTTERS-DATED 1954 w/ 1944 Pouch Nice condition For Sale

Original US Model 1938 Wire Cutters Marked Erudes or Eraudels co and dated 195?. The stamping goes shallow and I cannot make out the exact name or date, except it appears as I have spelled above and the date looks to be 1954--you will have to judge in the correct light and angle. Wire Cutter Pouch is dated 1944 and maker marked and is of the transition pattern coloring of lighter OD duck with dark OD tape and belt hook. Both Wire Cutter Pliers and Sheath appear very nice and don't look to have been carried much if at all, but do show some evidence of dampness in storage probably over time. No evidence of any cutting on the jaws of the cutters. No chips or cracks on handles, no soiling on back of sheath, but is a small spot on bottom of front side. all fairly clean and sharp save for some 80 years of time. Wire cutters still coated in original two tone blue/black metal finish but does show some mottling in spots from time and moisture, but no active rust. I have added latex model paint into the stampings and wiped the surface clean. I do this to make the detailed lettering really jump out and it is not a permanent alteration--if you want to remove it.This is a very nice set--Korean War or Vietnam war era set.I will accept offers--I am always open to negotiation.Please ask questions first.
