Original early American advertising token produced for the Excelsior Shoe Company of Portsmouth, Ohio.
One side depicts a Boy Scout on horseback and identifies the Excelsior Shoe Company of Portsmouth, Ohio.
The reverse reads:

The central design incorporates several traditional good-luck symbols, including a horseshoe, four-leaf clover, wishbone and swastika.
HISTORICAL CONTEXT:
This is a pre-1933 American historical item and is not related to Nazi Germany or Nazism. The swastika was used on this early Boy Scout promotional token in its historic good-luck context, alongside several other traditional symbols of good fortune.
The token shows substantial age and circulation wear and has two holes near the rim.
