In this listing, I am offering a sweet primitive garland that has been created by me for your seasonal display! The turkey and pumpkin garland would look adorable hanging across the mantel, from pegs on a shelf or across a cupboard. It can be hung anywhere you would like a bit of primitive Fall/Thanksgiving spirit!
The three pumpkins are made out of an aged orange white dot print fabric....front and back...with a layer of cotton batting inside. The pumpkin lines were created by hand using embroidery floss. The pumpkins have a real dried twig for a stem. The pumpkins measure about 4-1/4" by 4".
The two primitive turkeys are made out of light brown osnaburg...front and back...with a layer of cotton batting inside. The feathers were made out of a sweet light brown plaid homespun....front and back....with a layer of cotton batting inside. The feathers have hand stitched "feather" lines. The turkeys have black seed beads for their eyes and a stitched beak. The turkeys, including their feathers, measure about 7-1/2" by 7".
I have attached the pumpkins and turkeys to a 5' length of heavy jute twine with small stained wood clothespins. I tied a primitive tag to the twine with the words "Give Thanks" printed on it.
