These work with 3D pictures in books and also for stereoviews.
The prismatic lenses accommodate wider stereo pictures.
They are really one of the best portable viewers for stereoviews.
One caution:the part that bends and goes to support the viewer to the face is fragile and it often breaks off the viewer. That's not a problem, I personally do not use this part and I think you don't need it either. Just hold the viewer in front of your eyes.
