Up for sale is an incredibly rare, investment-grade pieceof sewing history: A 1951 Singer Model 20-10 child's toy sewing machine,manufactured specifically for Singer's 100th Anniversary "Century ofSewing Service" (1851-1951).
This set is 100% authentic, complete, and in jaw-dropping,functional condition.
THE MACHINE:
Finish: Spectacular, deep mirror-shine gloss black enamelpaint with 100% intact gold decals. No flaking, peeling, or rust.
Centennial Badge: Features the iconic, original blue andbrass oval 1851-1951 commemorative medallion in excellent condition.
Mechanism: Turns effortlessly by hand with a completelysmooth action. The needle arm moves up and down perfectly with no binding,grinding, or noises.
Chrome Table: Brilliant, mirror-like chrome finish withonly incredibly faint, minor storage water marks visible under closeinspection.
Hand Crank: Features the period-correct factoryblack-painted hand crank wheel.

Authentic Simanco Clamp. Includes the original metal tableC-clamp stamped with official factory markings: "SIMANCO CLAMP121716".
Deluxe Two-Tone Carrying Case: Includes the incredibly raredeluxe wood-blocked, fabric-covered carrying case (maroon and tan) with itsoriginal green felt interior lining. The original internal wooden stabilizingbars are completely intact, although, one has a small corner piece missing. The plastic (bakelite?) handle is solid, and the closure mechanism/latch operates beautifullyand smoothly. The exterior shows minor, honest age-related patina, including atiny 3/16" x 1/16" fleck of missing maroon surface fabric on oneside, light corner wear, and four very faint surface dots, all consistent witha beautifully preserved 75-year-old heirloom.
Items in this very good to excellent, complete conditionrarely hit the market. It has been kept in a smoke-free, climate-controlledenvironment.
