Q.R.S Model 15 Portable Wind-Up Suitcase Phonograph Record Player Antique 1920s For Sale

For sale we have a Antique Q.R.S Model 15 Portable Wind-Up Suitcase Phonograph Record Player. This is a rare model that doesn’t come up for sale too often. I believe it was made between 1928-1930 and appears to be in great condition for the most part. Cranked a few turns and moved the break lever, and it took off spinning. I’m not sure what the run time is on the crank but off a couple turns it went at least 5 minutes before I stopped it. The felt looks and feels nice. A little wear and a few marks. It has a beautiful metallic curtain and pillar theatrical design where the logo displays. Inside the little lid is a bunch of small player needles. It also comes with this head piece that doesn’t seem to fit. Not sure if it goes with this player or not but it’s included. I don’t know if it will actually generate sound but it seems like it has working parts. The crank looks like the screw has bent on the handle. The exterior is a beautiful burgundy and has an awesome art deco pattern. It measures right around 18” long, 16 3/4” wide including the handle, and a little over 8” tall.
