SUPER RARE HEAVY Designer JAMES YESBERGER CAT and MOUSE LETTER OPENER numbered limited edition 7/100 dated 1986 and fully hallmarked and signed JR Yesberger.

Vintage designer James Yesberger HUGE Cats (8) Letter Opener with detailed cat feet and a mouse under each one - very dimensional. This is a numbered 7/100 limited edition design. The cats are very thick and textured. It’s a heavy ‘80’s creative unique design from James Yesberger - really an iconic and an extremely collectible example of his work. This letter opener is from my personal collection purchased from an artisan gallery in the 80’s. This is a mixed metal design and the markings do not indicate what the metal composition includes - I have not tested the metal and do not know the metal makeup - I simply loved it for the beauty of Yesberger’s iconic cat and mouse design. I have not cleaned or polished it and there is a beautiful gentle patina from being on display for many years so it may need to be polished if desired.
