Here is hard to find, larger size pitcher in the Berkshire pattern from the
Boston & Albany Railroad
SIZE: 5-1/8 inches tall at the tip of the spout; it comfortably holds 22 ounces (2-3/4 cups - or 1 pint plus 6 ounces)This would make it a milk pitcher, depending on party size
A nicely centered side logo is substituted for one of the \"faux opals\". On the bottom is the correct OPCO/Syracuse China mark PLUS the Jones McDuffy & Stratton distributor company mark that is often missing.
CONDITION: Solid and sound with NO cracks, chips, flakes or repairs. Even the spout is undamaged. The glaze is bright and strong all over with NO scuffs on the sides. The handle has NO stress cracking. It\'s beautifully clean inside and out.
IMPORTANT: See our LAST THREE PICTURES - 1) The SIDE LOGO is blurry, from a poor quality transfer. Bad transfers plague Berkshire pattern pieces, but have to be held close to really notice them; and 2,3) This is the worst age spotting - there are a sprinkling of LIGHT age discoloration spots - we\'ve shown the worst - they are pale and HARD to see unless you pick the pitcher up and look CLOSELY.Make sure to check our pictures please - !
