• Aesthetic:Features stylized yellow poppies growing on tall, slender green stalks with un-popped seed pods against a cream background. It is finished with a thick, dark green glazed rim along its structural geometric edges.
• Dimensions: 4-3/8 in. H x 9.75 in. X 10.25 in.
• Condition: VERY GOOD. Presents with all over subtle craquelure, or crazing, and some faint staining on interior of bowl. Very tiny “scratch” on rim…please see last photo. Else, excellent with no chips, hairlines, cracks or restoration.

CollectibilityThe \"Poppies\" seriesware line was introduced in 1909 and offered three color variations: blue, pink, and yellow. While the pattern stayed in production through WWII, hollowware items like this octagonal bowl are highly sought after by collectors today because surviving examples are much scarcer than the standard flat rack plates.
