REDUCED AGAIN HUGE LOT Vintage 1950’s BOY SCOUT MEDALS-EAGLE-27 BADGES-EXPLORER For Sale

REDUCED from $2,200. This collection was my late husbands and he was a Boy Scout from 1953-1957. He was an Explorer Scout in 1955 and the Explorer Arm Band was earned for saving a girls life when the levee in Yuba City broke- He also passed out food and blankets to survivors of this tragedy. There is an Explorer Scout Tie Clasp. He also belonged to California Cadets in Sacramento and earned Rank Bars, Pins and Patches during that time. He earned Rank of EAGLE SCOUT in 1956 at 14 years old which was the youngest Scout in his area to do this. The pin does not have any markings on the back. On his sash there are 27 Badges but 26 cards from 1954-56. It looked like maybe one badge was received twice. There are First Class, Second Class and Star Scout cards also. There are a load of pins, a Hat (don’t know what the 2 little ones were for), a web Belt and Extra buckle, a First Aid Kit, a Plaster Trinket Box made in 1946 and Patches. There are 2 Story Books- BOY SCOUTS IN THE BLUE RIDGE 1913- and A BOY SCOUTS SECRET 1927. There are 3 Handbooks-1946, 1952, 1950 and the Explorer book is 1952. The 2 older ones have been well used and yellowed with one having had water on it it looks like from the stains. The Patrol leaders and Explorer books are in better condition. This is a great collection to have. The 80’s Items consist of Pins, Patches, Tie Slides and an older bag of 5 Cake Toppers. From the looks of the package, I’d say 60’s?
