Awesome old metal souvenir building ashtray in the shape of the Royal Gorge Bridge in Canon City, Colorado, the highest suspension bridge in the USA, made by Dodge, Inc. in the 1930s'-50's.
This souvenir building depicts the suspension bridge crossing the rock lined gorge with the narrow-gauge railroad running along the Arkansas River beneath it. The base is embossed "ROYAL GORGE BRIDGE" and has two cigarette holders, one on each side. The bottom is hollow.
It measures 3" tall by 3.5" wide by 3.5" deep and weighs 1.5 lbs.
The real bridge was built in 1929 as a tourist attraction and rises 955 feet above the Arkansas River gorge. A very hard to find old replica from the great American West.
