Offered is a rare, one-of-a-kind handcrafted wooden presentation gavel dated 1928 and engraved "Made by Milliken." This exceptional piece was acquired from a rural Virginia estate in the Roanoke area and displays beautiful age, craftsmanship, and historical character.
Unlike mass-produced gavels, this example was hand turned from solid hardwood with a graceful, balanced form and carefully engraved by its maker. The head bears the inscription "1928 – Made by Milliken," along with additional period engraving that has naturally faded with age.
