Extremely hard to find, excellent handmade craftsmanship genuine collectible large ceramic planter by the LA-based duo Kat and Roger.
This listing is for only the shorter, wider 7” planter shown; please see my other items for the taller, slimmer (8” tall x 5” across) vase shown next to it. (Note: In images with the four K+R pieces, I am showing them together for scale; the small ceramic cup and shallow bowl are not for sale at this time.)
The hand-painted pattern styles and colors are in limited batches and as such, they are very difficult to come by, with only one shop I knew of carrying them at the time I bought these pieces and very limited online carriers. They have a strong following of collectors and while they still release new work, they have not made this shape / style / pattern for many years.
It measures 7” tall x 7” across/in diameter, with a 6” opening at top.
I purchased this gorgeous geometric Midcentury-style piece along with several other pieces from The General Store, a boutique in San Francisco sometime between approx. 2013-2015. It is exceptionally clean and is free of damage, with the only signs of it having been pre-owned are the small protective sticker pads on the bottom as I didn’t want to risk scratching any surfaces. I will pack it very carefully.
Please ask any questions before buying as I do jot accept returns unless item is not as described. From a very clean nonsmoking home; I am selling some of my collectibles as I have stage 4 breast cancer and need to cover medical expenses. Thank you for looking!
