Rare Pair Original Gold Murano Ribbed Melon Glass Finials, Fire Polished Pontil For Sale

This monumental pair of Barovier-Seguso Murano ribbed melon finials feature 24 karat gold fused on the inside while being hand blown. They also feature the hallmark of their work with the finely hand ground and fire polished pontil, Gold filled 1/8\" ips threaded mounting in very good condition and mounting attached with the traditional plaster of paris\' to protect in temperature changes. These AI appraised, to immediately double a fine matching Monumental Murano lamp set needing authentic Murano finials from a price of 2,000. to 4,000. a set in retail value at this current moment in time. Iv\'e never seen a pair for sale in my life on or any other sale site in 5 decades of antiquing, till I found this set here in my home town a few years ago at a small shop. We are happy to make them available for your mansion or office. There are no cracks, hairline cracks, repairs or chip repairs. In my opinion: (last photo) there is one small rough micro 3 notch possible grinding mark where the pontil was hand ground on one the finials at where 1 melon flute at it\'s narrowest point meets the pontil, and mounting base...and with closeup magnification the edge of the pontil has the original rounding over from the fire polishing on it to verify that opinion. So at 70 years old I beleive they in are great condition and don\'t have any real wrinkles 🙃🙂.
