Rare circa-1910 souvenir playing cards published by The Inter-State News Company of Minneapolis for the Chicago, Milwaukee & Puget Sound Railway. The original gilt-lettered box advertises “53 Different Views,” with photographic railroad, landscape and destination scenes throughout the deck.
53 cards are present including the Joker. The original 9 of Hearts is missing; two 3 of Spades are present, with one hand-marked as a replacement 9 of Hearts.
An exceptionally scarce early railroad souvenir with crossover appeal to Milwaukee Road, railroadiana and antique playing-card collectors. Original box included.
