Renato Anatra Murano Glass Cockatoos Sculpture Cranberry
Renato Anatra ( Italian, Born 1943 ). Co-founder of Arte 80 with Andrea Tagliapietra. Subject matter features a pair of opalescent crested cased pink white cockatoo parrot birds perched on a solid clear split branch glass base. Both birds feature applied glass eyes, beaks and crests and applied to the branch which has applied glass leaves at the base, on one side. Signed with engraved script signature reads R. Anatra. Bottom of one of the tail has tip broken off. Did not notice until further inspected.
