This vise was totally restored in car talk frame off. All Snap on vises are rebranded Wiltons however if you buy one now for over a grand it is made overseas. Believe me there is a difference.
I took to metal sanded body by hand no filler used no weld breaks or repairs. I used several coats of automotive primer 3 coats of snap on red and finished with enamel engine clear to protect the finish from fuels and oil in your shop. I added new USA made Wilton jaws screws new pipe jaws new swivel tie down handle assembly new snap on decals. and added a dust cover.
This is the real deal 1972 slide date save a bundle this one won’t last. Buy with confidence I have restored over 1000 vintage vises I do them right. Vise is 14l 8 h 5 in wide jaws 47 lbs.
This is a serious mechanic pro vise. The original dust cap was thinner and shorter. This cap is not original equipment.
