The card invites attendees to a Wednesday evening lecture on November 24th at 8 o’clock and is signed in print by Rev. Dr. Michael Fried, President, and William Abramowitz, Secretary, for the “Temple Circle.”
Printed as a government-issued one-cent postal card, intended to be mailed, but remaining unused. An attractive piece documenting one of America’s most influential Reform Jewish leaders during his early career. Stephen S. Wise later founded the Free Synagogue of New York and became a leading advocate for Zionism, civil rights, and Jewish causes in the United States.
