Rod Mench “17th South Carolina Volunteer” limited edition statue, #397 of 1865.Please review all photos carefully for condition. This piece is being sold as-is with damage.The statue’s arms/hands have broken at the wrist area, causing the rifle assembly to detach from the figure. The original rifle and attached hand pieces are included, as shown in the photos. There are also visible signs of age, wear, surface marks, and minor finish loss throughout the statue and wooden base.The main figure, scenic base, wooden display base, identification plaque, and edition markings are all present.This would be a good candidate for restoration or display as-is. I have not attempted to repair or glue the broken pieces.Please assume the item will need repair.
