Roy Blakey Original Framed Photograph of Warhol Superstar Candy Darling. From the artists 1972 photo shoot and printed by the artist in the early 21st Century. Obtained directly from the artist while living and whose studio was three blocks away from our location. The print is hand signed by the artist, but underneath the mat board, and we will not be releasing the print at this time. The artist signed the piece in front of us at the time of signing. The photo has a slight blueish hue that is difficult to capture but is consistent and pleasing. Excellent condition overall. Matted in a silver glitter mat board and framed in a silver tone lacquered rococo frame. The back paper has a small tear at bottom but is inconsequential to the print. Only very minor wear associated with age and gentle use. See photos for details.
