This is a complete kit for replacing the rubber pads on the feet of your conductor\'s step box or step stool!!Worn or missing pads are not a problem with this kit. The kit includes: 4 black rubber pads, 4 heavy metal retainers and 12 x 1 1/4inch sheet metal screws.These padsare manufactured to fit the feet of most Pullman and Morton step stools.They are designed to replace the typical 3-hole pattern rubber pads. These pads are different fromsome others in that they are slightly thicker. The rubber pads have an overall height of3/4 inch which can be seen in the photos, These pads are machined rather than moulded, the sides of the feet are not smooth, but have a brushed finish. The original one piece pad measures 5/8 inch in height, while these are 3/4 inch. The thickness of this pad which sits under the metal leg of the stool is 3/8 inch on the new padversusonly 1/4inch in the \"stock\" pad. The measurements of the pads are3 1/4 x 2 3/8. The borders are 3/8 inch and the depth of the cut out is 3/8. The sheet metal screws are a good, tight fit in the metal insert. The metal insert is heavy 12 gauge steel in the usual three hole pattern drilled to a 1/4 inch diameter. This is heavier than the 16 gauge metal insert on the original pad.
