Beautiful vintage S.R. White Carving & Son (SRW) hand-carved and hand-painted pheasant dating to 1990. This impressive carving features exceptional carved detail and hand-painted coloration in rich burgundy, brown, black, cream and red tones.
The pheasant has a particularly attractive and distinctive appearance, with a long tapered tail, detailed carved wings and feather patterning, a red facial patch, and a naturalistic hand-finished look.
The underside/tail is professionally marked:

The carving measures approximately 21\" long × 6\" wide × 7\" high.
There is also a 5/8\" diameter mounting hole on the underside, consistent with displaying the carving on a pole or stand. Stand/pole is not included.
