A scarce Great Eastern Cutlery Northfield UN-X-LD 57 Pattern 571312 “Yellow Rose” hump Wrangler with etched Master blade. Excellent condition.
Measures approximately 3 1/2 inches long overall, closed. Master clip blade measures approximately 2 1/8 inches long, edge only. Obverse blade eched with image of Texas and “yellow Rose”. Obverse tang stamped “Northfield UN-X-LD Made in USA”. Long pull nail nick. Secondary spey blade measures approximately 1 ½ inches long, edge only. Obverse tang stamped “571312”. Third blade is a punch measuring approximately 1 7/8 inches long , measured along the spine. Obverse tang stamped “Great Eastern” in an arch over “TIW Cutlery”. Smooth yellow bone scales secured by four pins, obverse with a rose flower shaped shield. Nickel silver single line engraved bolsters to each end. Brass liners and spacer.
Good snap to all three blades. Light surface scratches and opening/closing marks to the blades. Scales good, no chips or cracks. A very nice example of an older, scarce GEC knife.
