Scarce antique Halloween postcard featuring a delightful Schmucker illustration published by Winsch. This charming design depicts a young girl dancing hand-in-hand with a large owl and a smiling jack-o’-lantern against a vibrant pink starry background. The verse reads, “Hallowe’en Jollity!” making it one of the more whimsical and colorful Winsch Halloween designs.
Postmarked October 2, 1913, with an undivided back and period handwritten correspondence. A wonderful example of early American Halloween ephemera that is highly sought after by collectors of Winsch, Schmucker, vintage holiday postcards, and anthropomorphic Halloween imagery.
