This scarce 1910s Hungarian “Nilus\" hinged litho cigarette tin, measuring 3 1/2” x 4 1/4” x 5/8,” is in very good condition with no rust, a few pinpoint dents on the top and bottom, and some minor age related paint scratches and chips. The hinge is in excellent working order. The tobacco was manufactured by Magyar Kiralyi Tobacco Company, Budapest, Hungary.This highly attractive blue and gold tin features a woman wearing a blue and white robe and turban. She is smoking a cigarette in front of an Egyptian temple.
