Original "Gala Dinner" menu from aboard the legendary flagship of the United States Lines, the S.S. "United States," dated Monday, June 30th, 1958. This scarce piece of maritime history captures the peak of mid-century transatlantic luxury travel. The S.S. United States still holds the Blue Riband for the fastest passenger liner crossing of the Atlantic, making its memorabilia highly collectible. Measures 8-1/2 x 11 inches. Some light discoloration or "ageing" to front cover. In very good collectible condition.Very nice engraved color illustration of the ship on the cover. Back cover has some passenger autographs.
