This lot includes a signed index card and a handwritten addressed envelope that he sent to the recipient of his autograph.Both are in very good condition. The writing on the envelope is covered for the anonymity of the recipient.Carl D Anderson shared the 1936 Nobel Physics prize for the discovery of the positron. The positron is the antiparticle of the electron. It\'s discovery was more than a discovery of another particle. It proved the existence of antimatter and the validity of Paul Dirac\'s equation that brought Special Relativity and Quantum Mechanics together at least for calculations purposes. The discovery of the positron was a very historic event in Modern Physics.It comes in a basic frame in which is has sat protected in my collection for many years.See photos for condition.
