SITRI – THE GOETIC SPIRIT OF DESIRE
In the Ars Goetia, the first section of the seventeenth-century Lemegeton or Lesser Key of Solomon, Sitri is listed as the twelfth spirit, traditionally described as a Great Prince.
The old text associates Sitri with love, desire, attraction and the revelation of intimate secrets, presenting the spirit first in a fantastic animal-like form before assuming human appearance.
Such descriptions belong to historical demonological and magical literature rather than established supernatural fact.
Yet symbolically, Sitri remains fascinating because desire is itself a form of revelation.
What we desire often exposes what we attempt to conceal.
THE SIGIL – DESIRE GIVEN FORM
