Original lot of 4 classic underground comix from 1968-1969:

• Snatch Comics #1 - 50c cover (Apex / Print Mint era, 4th/5th printing). Red cover with R. Crumb "hippy chicks" girl. ©1968 by R. Gum. • Snatch Comics No.2 - Hello '69! - 50c, January 1969. ©1968 by R. Scrum. • Snatch Comics No.3 - 50c. Yellow cover bus stop cover by R. Crumb. • JIZ #1 - 50c cover - TRUE 1ST PRINTING 1969. Green cover, Smut Peddlers of America SPA logo, ©1969 by R. Crumb. This is the desirable first edition - later printings are 75c.

All are the small format approx 5" x 7", 36 pages, B&W interior. Art by Robert Crumb, S. Clay Wilson, Victor Moscoso, Spain Rodriguez, Jay Lynch, etc. The foundation of underground comix.

CONDITION:

Vintage reader/collector grade - not graded, please judge from photos. All complete, no missing pages, staples tight, no writing.

• Snatch #1: The nicest of the lot to find but shows age. Diagonal crease across top front cover (see detail photo), light soiling / age toning on red header, spine wear. Still presents well. • Snatch #2: Cleaner copy, light edge wear, white cover is nice. • Snatch #3: Bright colors, light corner wear. • Jiz #1: Light spine creasing and bottom edge wear as shown, otherwise solid.

Smoke-free collection. Stored flat for years.

ADULT / MATURE - 18+ ONLY: These are historic 1960s underground adult comix with explicit sexual satire and humor. Sold as collectible historical artifacts.

I left the back cover of Snatch #1 out of the photo set - it contains an explicit R. Crumb story that will get flagged. The book you receive DOES include the back cover, I just did not photograph it for the listing.
