Spinach Jade Carved Mythical Beast Qing Dynasty Style Traditional Ritual Vessel For Sale

A great unique find! A carved green mottled spinach jade 'mythical beast' traditional ritual vessel/vase with lid in the style of pieces from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The vase is decorated on either side with taotie mask designs, mythological creature handles with hanging rings, the rooster for base, and a foo dog/lion on the lid. The vessel measures approximately 9"H x 6.5"W x 2" D and was most likely produced in the mid to late 20th century.
