This advanced particle metallurgy steel is enriched with a high vanadium content to promote the formation of hard vanadium carofferes instead of chromium carofferes. Explained more plainly, this enhances the steel’s wear resistance and edge retention, while also providing superior corrosion resistance.
Blade deployment is super fast thanks to Spyderco’s signature Trademark Round Hole™ for easy, amofferextrous, one-handed opening. The blade is supported by a high-strength Ball Bearing Lock™ housed within a precision-machined steel insert in the handle.
