An MGE exclusive run of the Para Military 2: teal G-10 scales, a DLC-coated CPM S90V blade and blackout hardware throughout. MGE described it as the first time they had run a teal G-10 variant. It is sold out and is not part of Spyderco’s standard catalogue, so it is not something you can simply reorder.
The knife
The Para Military 2 takes the Military model and compresses it into a pocketable size without giving up the cutting geometry. The Compression Lock is the reason people keep buying it: a high-strength lock that closes one-handed, with your fingers nowhere near the edge.
This run uses CPM S90V in place of the standard production steel. It is one of the highest-vanadium stainless steels Spyderco puts in a production folder — it holds a working edge far longer than S30V, at the cost of being slower to sharpen. Paired with the DLC coating, the whole knife reads matte black against the teal.
The textured G-10 scales carry Spyderco’s four-position hourglass clip, so it will ride tip-up or tip-down, left or right. Made in Golden, Colorado.
