Original vintage Starland Dairies one-quart milk bottle from Savannah, Georgia, in heavy smoky brown-gray glass with two-sided burgundy applied-color label (ACL) graphics.

The front carries the Starland Dairies script logo between two stars with \"Grade A Dairy Products.\" The reverse has the more desirable pictorial slogan \"They Come to Visit, Not to Stay - Return Our Bottles Every Day,\" illustrated with two walking milk bottles and a smaller baby bottle, which gives it far more display appeal than a plain-lettered dairy bottle. The bottle has the classic square returnable form with rounded corners, sloping shoulders and a heavy reinforced mouth.
Starland Dairies operated from its plant at 2425 Bull Street in Savannah beginning in the 1930s, and the surrounding neighborhood later became known as Savannah\'s Starland District. That history gives surviving Starland advertising real interest for collectors of Savannah and Georgia memorabilia and Southern dairy advertising.
The bottle is believed to date from the late 1940s through the 1950s. The exact year and glassmaker have not been confirmed from the base markings, so no specific manufacturer is claimed.
Condition: vintage used, with expected age wear, light haze, scratches and possible case marks from commercial handling. The burgundy graphics on both sides remain readable and display well. No cap is included. The white material inside the bottle in some photos was used only for photographic contrast and is not included.
