Steiff is well known for their wonderful jointed teddy bears. This 14\" Betsy Ross Bear celebrates the first American flag made by Betsy Ross in 1776. You will note that she is wearing a broach (see 8th picture) that features a picture of Betsy Ross and the American Flag.
This Betsy Ross bear is a growler, is jointed five ways, and is made of the finest mohair. She was produced in Germany.
She isSteiff item #666940, is part of their North AmericanExclusiveEdition , and has a consecutively numbered white ear tag and gold-plated \"Button in Ear\" inherear. Her number is 573 of a limited edition of 1776 pieces.
She comes with her Steiff black embroidered bag, limited edition certificate, and Steiff literature. Also included is the original outer cardboard box. There is a matching label Betsy Ross (#573) on this outer box and it has tape on it, as it was more functional to protect the bear in the black bag(see last picture).
