Twinned & Stepped Prismatic Rhombohedral Honey over Red Phantom Calcite Termination with Hematite Coating on Matrix
Super Super Rare Setup in this Pocket first off it\'s from a mine that produces exclusively Scalenhedral Terminations..until now apparently. This Crystal has BOTH of the other two types of Terminations Rhombohedral and Prismatic Combined. This is Sometimes called \" Nailhead Spar\" or Combo Termination. It\'s not that common and another thing that definitely isn\'t common is the Strange Symmetrical Stepping in its Texture, again totally different from anything we\'ve ever seen from the Mine. Also uncommon is on the inside it has a Honey over Red Phantom which is Amazing. Not too Common for Calcite but Common at the Keep Mine and you\'d easily see this Phantom if it wasn\'t for yet another Anomaly and that is the Solid Hematite Coating over the Crystals.
I was unable to find even a picture of another one like it on Google, or anywhere period. It came from a small pocket and the next may not be the same or Maybe all the rest will be similar lol it\'s kind of like with the pockets themselves. It could be the last one and the mine is over with or after 16 years It\'s just now hitting It\'s sweet spot either way It\'s a Very Special find and I\'m very happy I can share it with you here at KeepsCache.
