Stollwerck Heroes Album 1909 Card Set Ser 445 Napoleon Blucher Scharnhorst Stein For Sale

In 1867 Stollwerck Bros became the first chocolate company in Germany to issue cards with its products and in the first year after introduction , the company\'s turnover doubled .The Company issued many more card sets and in 1909 issued an album of sets each containing 6 cards entitled Heroes . I have on sale here Set 445 in the Stollwerck ongoing series from that album , totally original and dating from 1909 in used but overall fair to good condition front and rear as scanned . The cards each measure approx 1.5 ins x 3.5 ins are beautifully illustrated and have very detailed information on the rear in German containing the set and card number , manufacturer details and description of the subject illustration .This is a very rare set indeed .
