Nice vintage 1936 Texas Centennial Exposition souvenir cowboy hat ashtray.

These small collectible pieces were made from mixed metals (often copper, brass, or spelter) and sold as pocket-sized mementos during the massive world's-fair-style centennial celebration held in Dallas. The paint on this piece has weathered or worn away over time, but the structural shape is solid. Stamped “Texas Centennial” on bottom.
