TIKI CALIENTE 12 FEMALE MENEHUNE TIKI BOWL / MUG DOUG HORNE EEKUM BOOKUM RARE For Sale

This is a bowl shaped like three female menehunes playingdrums around a central coconut bowl. Each has a flower in her hair and iswearing a flower lei.The menehune design was inspired by vintage United Airlines menehune statuesand decanters which portray the same female character as well as an older,mustached male character.The preceding mug version was designed by Doug Horne and manufactured in 2021by Eekum Bookum (John and Janet Mulder) for Tiki Caliente 12.The bowl version was not issued for Tiki Caliente 12, but was created by EekumBookum afterwards, and sold at least as early as at the 2022 Tiki Calientemarketplace at the Eekum Bookum booth.
