TRESSEMANES & VOGT Antique Victorian Limoges France Porcelain Shaving Mug For Sale

This antique Tresemmanes & Vogt Shaving Mug I is handpainted with wild roses on a delicate mint green background. This Men\'s Shaving Mug was produced by T&V Porcelain factory at Hautes Viennes in Limoges, France between 1891 and 1914 as indicated by the backstamp markings. The gold gilt handle and rim are in excellent condition for its age and use. The gilt is in intact and shows very little wear. No chips or cracks on the mug. The handpainting shows a delicate and sophisticated use of decorative coloration ranging from the deep copper near the base of the mug through the most delicates shades of pink to palest green. This is an excellent example of a Men\'s Victorian Shaving Mug in wonderful condition.
