Iridescent Thai 100% PURE Silk Shantung is a beautiful, high quality fabric that measures 1 meter (about 39\") wide and 2 meters (2.2 yards) long.

This iridescent fabric is constructed by weaving threads of two different colors together. Color is so unusual that is hard to describe. Overall first color that catches the eye is Gold+Green olive, but where fabric moves its shimmers with pure turquoise. Overall I would put it in cool green family of colors.

In fabric weaving, the two main thread directions are warp and weft. Warp threads run lengthwise and here is turquoise color. Weft threads run horizontally across the fabric and here is Pure Gold color. That’s how the iridescent quality creates a lustrous color effect when the fabric is moved around.

Thai silk shantung is a type of Thai silk known for its slightly texture, sheen, and a ribbed effect created by its weaving. It has a distinctive texturesimilar to silk Dupioni, but finer, smoother to touch and lighter by weight. Length could be perfect for a blouse.
