Simple, classic and beautiful, these vintage style light bulb sockets are absolutely the best quality around. They\'re a two-piece un-glazed porcelain designed to mount THROUGH a thin (max 1/8\") piece of material, such as a metal sign or marquee light. The hole should be minimum 1-3/8\", maximum 1-5/8\". The bottom piece goes under/inside the sign, the metal threads protrude through the hole, and the porcelain ring screws on from the top to hold the socket in place. The socket is then wired from the bottom/inside the sign.
