Tlingit carved Northwest Coast Style Wooden Canoe model For Sale

This is a rare and old Tlingit hand-carved wooden canoe model in lovely condition. It was made using traditional Northwest Coast Indigenous techniques and materials. This item has intricate carvings and is painted with a classic red, black, and has copper throughout the piece. It is quite old and has a crack on the bow (see pictures). I purchased it from an art gallery in Alaska 35+ years ago and it was an antique then. The workmanship is fantastic and beautiful piece.
